comp dog

What do you think makes a vary good comp dog. If you had a young dog when would you know that it was ready for the hunts. What should a person look for in their dog

i would rather have a coon dog than a competition dog. alot of competition dogs want hunt by themselves.

how young

is the dog you always take a chance huntin in comp hunts cause alot of people these days r huntin rough dogs your dog gets chewed on its always a set back but what i look for is the dog needs to be accurate and fast and most important consistent meanin every time you cut that lead he has one thing in mind treein a coon
