The guy I own pups with has a 4 year old off TJ's that he raised and trained from a puppy. I have hunted with the dog all his life. He is the one and only experience I have with anything that much Lipper. He has a weak mouth, always has. He can be a real ground pounder but on the other hand he can take friozen ground dead of winter tracks and finish them better than most can today. He is a dead accurate tree dog, He'd rather trail than tree. Don't know if that helps but thats what I know about one TJ dog.
JiM
the same dog jim is talking about i have also hunted with many many times. high pitched squal mouth. sounds like a joker dog, just not as loud. ground piounder but is very accurate tree dog . will split and hold.
i also hunted with one other off lipper up in bellevue. cant remember guys name but this dog wasnt really any different only had a better mouth
