UKC water race & bench show

East Carolina Coon Hunters Assoc. , Vanceboro, NC will have a UKC bench show and a UKC water race SUNDAY, 4 JULY, 2010. Bench show deadline is 2:00 PM and water race deadline is 3:30 PM. Entry fees are $10.00.

Will also have an unlisenced treeing contest.

Our monthly club meeting will be after the events.

We had 14 dogs in the bench show and 9 in the UKC water race. We followed the water race with a fun swim race and a treeing contest.

We even had some excitement when the pull cable got tangled and the dogs caught up with the coon. One dog rode the float half way down the pond chewing on the coon! Don't worry about the coon, he survived another encounter: he was stuffed about 20 years ago. He looks rough but with a few drops of coon scent he does a great job!
