Rule Question???
I will post this again but word it differently so I hopefully will get more response. Dogs are cut and quiet for 2-4 minutes. Dog A strikes in for 100 and is quiet for a while and the 8 is running. Dog B comes back towards us and is struck and treed about 20-30 feet ahead of us. Dog C & D are then struck in and seem to be going deeper. In this situation is it ok to walk away from the dog treed. I know that if dogs are trailing that you split the distance, but it seems that when a dog is treed that close the cast shouldn't walk away. Regardless i know the dog should stay, but I just don't know the right thing to doin that situation.
Thanks
RC
It's only fair to walk away from the tree in which all cast members have a chance of hearing their dog however the cast should still be at the tree at the 5 minute mark.
it would be fine to move away from the dog that is treed just kind of walk around him but watch out that you dont walk up on dog A unless you know where he she went
Both responses are good advice.
