Registering Adult Dog?

I'm interested in purchasing a dop from someone. The dog is about 1 1/2yrs old. The owner never sent in the registration paperwork to your office. Is there a timeline for filing the papers and also is there any remedy for the situation.

If the dog has already been permanently registered with us, there is no late fee. Just fill out the back of the papers and send them in to us with the normal fee.

If the dog has not been permanently registered with us, and it's over 1 year of age, then you'll have to pay the registration fee, plus a $20.00 late fee. All fees are listed on the back of the papers.
