Eligible for Registration?

I have a Pure Bred Pomeranian, but only have one problem.
His mother and Father are Registered with the CKC. I'd LOVE to be a part of the AKC, or the UKC, but neither of his parents are registered with either.

MUST BOTH/ONE of his parents be registered here for him to eligible? I wasn't able to find anything about that on the site, and wanted to register here anyways.

Thanks so much in Advance
-Terrah

The UKC office is closed until Monday, so I'm sure someone will give you an official answer then, but in the meantime, from the UKC registration site, here is the information on acceptable registries for Pomeranians;

Copy of your dog’s registration certificate from an UKC acknowledged registry.
.... For this breed, we acknowledge the American Kennel Club, the Canadian Kennel Club,
.... the Kennel Club (of Great Britain), and any FCI affiliated registry.

So, if by CKC you mean the Canadian Kennel Club, and you have the individual registration on your dog, then he would be eligible for registration with UKC. However, if you mean the Continental Kennel Club, he would not be eligible for UKC registration unless you first managed to get him registered with one of the acceptable registries.
If you have no papers on him at all, but want to participate in UKC performance events (agility, obedience, etc), then he would be eligible for the Limited Priviledge program once he is neutered.
