Training question

When folks talk about learning a dog to tree using a net. What do they mean and how does it work. thanks

They are talking about a method that Ed Mead uses. In fact, he sold training tapes for a while. I don't know if he still does or not.

Ed used a large fishing net to put the coon in to lay tracks, etc.

If I remember correctly what Ed used to do was drag the net on the ground and hang it in a tree. I don't believe he ever put a coon in it just used coon sent on the netting. It's been along time since I read about it or talked with Mr. Mead about doing it.
