need some help

i have a 3 year old dog that is the first strike dog everytime dont matter who or what he is hunting with goes good all the way to tree but i cant get him to look up! just will not tree is it to late to do anything with him? willing to try anything at this point! he has all the drive and will hunt all night long if u let him!

what I do that helps is shoot the coon out throught a rope on it snd drag it up in down the tree that works for me.
