Skin Staplers
Well after sewing up a few hounds I went looking for a Skin Stapler and Found this Site .. Here is the link
Expired Date Staplers $12.99 so I bought 5 packs ..

Mr. Morrow,
Thanks for the info..., Also, they have good prices on sutures (I use them, too).
Thanks again,
Marc Price
I guess my Suture knot isn't what it should be .. Their always pulling them out.

Knots-
There's a bunch of videos - just google "surgical knots"
I have good luck with a simple "surgical square knot" or, if it's a straight wound (<6 stitches worth), I use a "mattress stitch" and go from one site to the next with a simple anchor knot without cutting the suture.
Marc
P.S. I'm an old nurse / medic, plus, my sighthounds have given me quite a bit of chances to learn to stitch (they get skin tears pretty easily).
Ah, the skills our dogs teach us!!
