Don't know about where you are but we have several here. Went hunting last night and was walking a fence row in a winter wheat field and in the tall grass about five feet on the other side of the fence was a young cat bedded down. Just looked at me for a few secounds and then took off. My buddy and his dad had just walked by and not seen it. They had the gun and it was gone befor I could get them to come back.
Langley and I ran a cat outside of Logansport, IN one year. That was a long nite.

Don't have a seasonon them here in IL yet but there's starting to be a lot around. I saw one deer hunting this year. About 1 month ago my buddy was hunting and his dog treed 2 in the same tree. Then about a week ago my dogs were treeing a coon and as I walked to the tree, I saw eyes in another tree about 100-150 yds away. After I shot the coon out I headed that way and the dogs treed, but there was nothing there, then my 2 yr old male opened on the other side of the creek, but it sounded different then when he trails coon. I got to looking and found cat tracks.
