dc 30 collar question

I just got my system and it s AWSOME! one of the best inventions since the dog lead.

my question is what side of the dogs neck does the VHF ant. go up? I know that with my johnson collars the ant. always goes on the dogs right side so that the tree switch can work properly.
I have done the same with my DC 30's but I am getting a lot of tree switches when the dog is standing in the box!

thanks for any help.

It makes no difference. The tree switch isn't really a switch on the GPS collars.

Yea like Jim said they work different on the garmin collars. It shows treed when the dog has been still for a certain amount of time.

I may be wrong here but I belive the collar works with an altimeter if the altimeter reads higher than ground level it trees (hence tree going off in box) if it is in a still position at ground level it shows sitting.
