Have you looked into page for "Stolen Hounds" I think it would be a BIG help to all houndsmen. The people on the UKC site were of great help to me. I am confident that I would not have gotten any of my hounds back if not for the people on this site.

Seems like we've discussed it before be we can again. It's not a bad idea but I have one concern right off the top of my head. I would be afraid that the majority of people using the website wouldn't see it. It's kind of like the "Dog Transportation" thread. Nobody checks it until they need to find a dog a ride. And once it had it's own forum, mods would be expected to keep posts of that nature off the general forums.

Because we don't have a lot of situations such as yours, I don't have a problem with them remaining on the main forums and I think by doing so, way more people are aware of the situation which maybe why in your case it had a positive outcome.

But we're open to suggestions if anyone has opinions.

Todd,
Would it be possible to start a registry with open access of dog identification marks like brands, tattoos and such?

I don't think I understand the question Stephen?
