puppy food
WHAT AGE DO YOU SWITCH YOUR PUPPIES FROM PUPPY FOOD TO DOG FOOD? MY PUP WAYS ABOUT 35 LBS AND IS 4 MONTHS OLD.
i've always heard that pups should be left on pup food for 1 year then slowly switch them to adult.

They should be kept on puppy food untill they are 1 year old. the reason for this is because puppies do not stop growing untill they are a year old and the puppy food helps their bones and joints to grow because of all the extra vitamins that are in it. I keep mine on it untill they turn 1 and then when I start to run out of my last bag of puppy food I start to mix in adult food so that I dont just switch on them and mess up their stomach. if you dont want to keep them on puppy food untill they turn 1 (because of prices or whatever reason.) at least keep them on it untill 6 months that way they are finished with most of their growing.
