Squirrel Vest

Gotta get a new vest for squirrel hunting. What color do most wear?

I wear a light-weight green camo vest when it's hot, a brown Filson vest when it's cool. When deer season comes in, I go bright orange and whistle when I walk. Actually, I don't think there's any reason to wear camo if you're hunting with a dog - it's just what I've got.

Vest

thanks for the post. I haven't found a dog that I'll call a "squirrel dog" yet; so mainly still hunting. Do you think the squirrels can pick up the color of an orange vest quicker than a brown or camo vest?

Tell you the truth, I don't know. I have stood still with an orange vest on, the dog running elsewhere, and they didn't spook.
