WOW! It just seems so strange to me to look at Lone Pine dogs that are not black and white like Wild Casey! They look very similar to my Finley River dogs that are bred here in Missouri. Personally, I prefer a dog colored like Bullseye, but that Rock dog is a good looking rascal! Ol' Reana looks like my kind of dog with those red ticks on her legs and up her chest-reminds me of Finley River Sam that sired my old Rosie female! Thanks for the info and the pics!

Here is a little tidbit that most people don't realize.

Duvalls Lone Pine Lady, the original Lone Pine dog, was bred to Finley River Pete and Finley River Spike.

Some of the dogs produced were the red headed, blanket back.

Here's the ped on the Rock dog, while he's Lone Pine bred, you'll see the name Finley River a bunch too.

My next door neighbor has some young pups that are starting out real nice out of a NC full brother to Lone Pine Cowboy. They are big and have the trademark white and black Lone Pine coloring.

Briar is right.

Deuce is out of Earle and Reana. Earle is out of Cowboy/Shania

Rocky is out of Cowboy and Reana.

forest, can you post a picture of BEAUTY on here. i would appreciate it.

Posted by Lone Pine JB on 01-09-2008 07:01 PM:

Bob,

I don't have a pic of Beauty and Terry lives about an hour from me, so I won't be able to get one anytime soon.

I can tell you that she lives up to her name, kinda like calling a fat guy "Tiny"....

She looks like a typical Casey dog, black and white with lots of ticks.

i've hunted casey dogs my entire life and milk holstein cows. black & white is beautiful to me.

Posted by Lone Pine JB on 01-09-2008 07:58 PM:

She'll be right up your alley then.

There was a pic in Coonhound Bloodlines last year of her littermate brother for winning a RQE, Lisbon, Ohio I think.

I'll see if I can dig it up, but I gave my old mags away and probably don't have it.

Bob,

Look for GRNITE Tallon's Wild Cal. I can't remember what month it was in though. It may not have been Lisbon. I really don't remember.
