Gr Nite Ch Northern Blue Jet V / Gr Ch Gr Nite Ch Big Time Spankin Blue Wendy Cross

With the help of Roy and Tim Clifton the cross of GRNITECH NORTHERN BLUE JET V / GR CH GR NT CH PR Big Time Spankin Blue Wendy will be made yet this year. Below is the pedigree of both hounds and we are looking forward to this cross. We felt Roy / Tim had a bitch that would be a good one to cross up on and they were willing to help us out. Thanks Roy and Tim!

Hope to refine the copying of the pedigree a little later!

You may also want to look into heavy Smokey River Chief bred females. They crossed well on Jet V and heavy Jet females also crossed well on Chief and S.R. Dancer.

Jet V and Combs Big Time Dot(S.R. bred) produced very well also.

Yes Jet V was collected. We were just lucky to come by it and very big thanks' goes out to the man for helping us out with a few breeding's off of Jet V. We hope to make the best of it and help the breed along the way, we feel Jet V still has a lot to offer to the Bluetick Breed. The pups will be both performanced and Super Staked and go to the hands of hunters wanting to do the same!

Timmy and I are excited to be a part of this cross. We feel that Wendy has the right traits, blood and she produces too. All four of us feel that Jet V can produce on todays blues and still have an impact in our breed.
I know that some are not going to believe that Timmy and I have steped out of the MAD DOG box but we feel that when you breed a coondog to a coondog we can always come back home to our kennel and keep moveing ahead.After all a Pounder bred female crossed on V will make a great cross on Smoke.LOL
Corey, Mark, Timmy and I are useing todays tools to bring an old great dog back to life and cross on todays females for tomorrows future.
This may be the cross of the century or a total flop. We are all putting alot of money on the line betting for the better.

This is awesome! Glad to see everyone concerned working together to make this happen. I wondered if the straws would ever come out of hibernation. LOL

I wish they would start working on collecting eggs out of females like they do in cattle. Fertilize them and transplant them into a receptive female. Heck a guy could even make an old walker female throw a litter that is truly worth something.(all bluetick litter) LOL

Wonder if eggs can be frozen? I would love to be able raise some more Maddog Spanky x Inga pups and Jet V x Inga pups. They just pass way to soon.

This picture was from this past winter. The winter was the hardest winter I've ever hunted in. She had a coon here. I was hunting with Jay Lahey, I believe we made 4 trees, saw 5 and shot 3 if I remember correctly. It was a very fun night of hunting, but the snow was very taxing. Dot has what it takes to have a coon in less than desirable conditions, and I'm sure her sister Wendy is no different. If I could've got Dot a couple years ago, she'd be GrNtCh no doubt.

Wendy must have took after hwr mother because she is a layup artist also.
Wayne Poff has a pup out of Wendy and he said she is the same way. Never hurts to see it passed on in the pups.

We got the DNA papers today so all we have to do is send them into PKC and we will have all the paperwork done. I would like to give a special thanks to MR. Ed Mead for helping me get all the paperwork in line so we can have the pups UKC performance and PKC super staked.
