Tailgate Adventures TV Show

How many of you guys watched the first episode of the Tailgate Adventures Show? I thought it was great. They were hunting some Walker coonhounds but they seemed to be good dogs, the filming and editing was excellent, and even the commercials were interesting and dog hunter related. If you haven't watched it yet, you need to check it out. Episode 1 will show again this week on channel 230 on Dish on Friday evening and on Sunday. If you don't have Dish, have a buddy or relative record it for you.

I saw some Mt Cur squirrel dogs and beagles in the introduction, so, there should be some episodes featuring them.

At last, a show worth watching on TV.

Thanks guys....

Make sure you let the sponsors of the show (the folks that bought the commercial time) that you appreciate them taking a chance on a show that they said couldn't be done!

I liked it but whos the feller talking during the commercials? That rascal has a pretty deep voice AND you can tell ya'll feed your dogs well up there in the north country

Tailgate adventures

I Really enjoyed the show. I need to get some DVD's bought for a coonhunting buddy of mine that had a stroke and is bed ridden now. What a great show for the guys and gals that currently enjoy the sport and the ones that can't make it to the woods anymore. Keep up the good work.

I liked it and it was very informative for those who might not know anything about coon hunting.

Thanks Justen,

Our first episode was aimed at those folks that might be watching and have never been coon hunting before!

I promise that we wont "teach and preach" on every episode, but hope that you'll enjoy the rest of them just as much!

I didn't get to watch it yet but am looking forward to it. One thing I hope you'll mention frequently is the fact that deer are territorial and will not leave the area just because it's being coonhunted. In fact it would be great if you could get some deer in the filming of it? Thanks for coming up with the show and good luck with it, I'll be a viewer!

I agree, seems this time of year people are more picky of letting people go coonhunting for the risk of "chasing all the deer out". I for one seem to see more deer bowhunting the following morning after coon hunting. I think it can sometimes get them up and moving, but sure doesn't run them out of the country as some people think.

I don't know how it works, but a lot of shows that come on tv and miss are played on Fancast.com The show may be aired on there but its usually a week behind. But I'm not sure if it has to be set up by the networks or what. If they will play it, those of you that don't have Dish can watch it there.. Maybe its something Oak Ridge can set up..

I was already to catch the first episode and instead, Colorado Buck comes on. Disappointed again!!! They have it on the guide as coming on, but it wasn't there. Maybe next time on Saturday. Take care, Ron.
