Hatchet is up for stud in Indiana. He is a first strike first tree kinda dog. very accurate hound with unbelievable tracking ability. he can carry a track most hounds can not smell. As it states above Hatchet belongs to Travis Bowling (my cousin). I started coonhunting when I was 17 I'm now 54 and have by no means hunted with a huge number of hounds and I'm not color blind a good COONDOG IS A GOOD COONDOG but I'll say this MY IDEA OF MY PERFECT COONDOG WOULD BE EVERYTHING HATCHET IS IN ANY COLOR!!!!!!
Hatchet just goes to the woods and trees and I personally have never walked to a slick with him, either seen the meat or a true den tree. I hope my pup I have now turns out just like her daddy. If you have a female that trees coon you cannot go wrong breeding to Hatchet. He lives to please his owner!

But don't miss out on this hound.
He hunts from the moment his feet hit the ground
Tenor bawl on track,double bawl locate then turns it over to a steady chop. Cold nosed hound that doesn't straddle a track! Runs those old feeder tracks just like they've been layed down.
Independent as they come and will hold all the pressure you can throw at him!!!
Pretty much a dead loaner!! Gets treed quick no fooling around.
He's bred to do one thing and that's tree coon!!
Hatchets mother was a big winner in PKC and UKC Grntch Farm's Deep River Remedy
Hachets sire speaks for him self also! Grntch Mr Moe top reproducer! There is no reason that Hatchet shouldn't follow in his foot or his mother's.
He is! I work three jobs and am know just getting things lined up to put him into some bigger hunts. If he can help and I believe he can!

Hatchet is a meat dog that tree's layups that other hounds blow right bye.
Hatchet looks on good night's and extra good on nights others can't tree one. Hard hunting, accurate, intelligent,loud, extremely cold nosed,and can push a track like no other!! Hachet was never a trashy hound!!
Currently Hatchet has one litter of pups on the ground.
The feed back on pups is great!! Pups at 2 months treeing on scent.

If you want to put the drive in pups hatchet will do it. He is a direct out of top 5 reproducer Mr Moe. The hounds he is producing know nothing but coon! With the pups hatchet has now there is no doubt about it he will reproduce!!!!

Hatchet pups

Hatchets throwing good ones. 3 month old pup treeing drags off scent. Hatchet will reproduce. gotten many calls so stud fee will no longer be free before long so give us a call before it changes. We believe hatchet will be following in his daddys foot steps. Mr moe who is on of the top reproducers is throwing coon dogs that know nothing but coon with a crazy drive and so far hatchet pups are the same way!
