11 week old puppy treeing
I have a 11 week old puppy out of Nocturnal Kane and Smokey Mountain Rain she was treeing...no coon hide, not a cage coon..a wild coon she treed with another dog...i took her at 6 weeks old for her first adventure in the woods at night and she did excellent she walked about a total of 2 miles that night crossed over every tree and fence by herself and took her couple nights ago and she treed....not suspecting her to tree it surprised me..and now she trees every night i go...with another dog...she is NOT for sale i just wanted to spread the word about these pups outta Nocturnal Kane

Sounds like a good way to ruin and burn a pup out fast. Why would you do this?
not burning her out i was not expecting her too do this at all i just was taking her with me too get her used too the dark and she took it too the next level ... and if i can somehow find a way too put a video on here of her i will ...if anyone knows how please help me out ...thanks
Heck Lil E give the ole boy a break....anybody would get excited over a pup doing this....she looks very cool & the best of luck with her in the future....
quote:You are right Rick let me know how the pup is doing this time next year Walkerman 1993. COOL video for sure.

I've hunted with the momma of these pups as well and she is a quick strike and tree dog but very accurate I'd say she will be finished quick if pushed and that would make these pups all grand and she has got alot of great blood in her harry and abby , rat attack ,sackett jr ,and tar heel nitro are all in the bottom side of this pups papers I'm very excited for you walkerman1993 she is gonna be a good one
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS AGE IS AS FOLLOWS. I HAD A FEMALE OFF HARD ROCK CAFE' AND WORLD CHAMPION TERRA. WHEN SHE WAS 3 MONTHS OLD, SHE WOULD GO HUNTING, GET TREED AND STAY. VERY IMPRESSIVE!! BY THE TIME SHE WAS 9 MONTHS OLD SHE WAS ON HER WAY TO NT.CH. THEN THE BOTTOM FELL OUT. WOULDN'T STAY ON A TREE, JUST DROP OFF AND GO RUN AND TREE ANOTHER ONE. WOULDN'T STAY ON THAT ONE EITHER. I AGREE YOU CAN BURN THEM OUT. I BEKIEVE THEY HAVE TO MATURE BOTH PHYSICALLY, AN D MENTALLY! GOOD LUCK WITH HER, THEY'RE ALL NOT THE SAME!!
ETHAN GIVE ME A CALL ABOUT ANNIE SHE IS FINISHED NOW..

puppy treeing
you my friend was''Blessed''
your puppy reminds me of many, that I had to do the same thing.
and it does make u proud, and very happy inside.
My suggestion to u,is to love her, play with her,and hunt her around some feeders, and Plz,dont over do it,and hunt her bye her self, even if she doesnt go far.evenually, she will slip into the darkness, and fall tree, and do it again and again.,praise her,and play with her, after u drop the coon out to her,and being her first few times, have some one hold her,and cover her ears, and use cb shorts, soou dont get her gun shy, cause loud shot has a 1st impact on a pup,and has them to go gun shy,
and she ll be the best that she can be,rather a good nose good tracker, and hunter, this u will find out all in good time.
God bless u and your puppy, and enjoy her while u can, cause they grow old fast, and die young.
sinscerly
old hunter.

Thanks flint that mean a lot .. I have had good luck with pups training them but this is by far the best one yet .... I haven't hunted her in days cause she was getting a little too exited on a tree she got where she would tree then start face barking so I pull her off and step away from tree but she has completely impressed me
I agree with Flint I'm glad too see as many people are interested and impressed as me if you could post some pics of her or this video on my post when I put Kane back on here

fred x kane
I have a 2nd generation skuna river x kane pup 14weeks old, that i'm sure could track and tree a coon, but I'm to nervous to hunt her @ night with her being so small She throws dirt off the lead, tracks as far as I can drag, and will hammer the tree. Last time I lost visual on her for several minutes. I've decided to lay her up until she is big enough to wear a gps, and be shown a coon.
Where can I find a female out of nocturnal Kane?
