The news of Mr. Joe House passing is a hard pill for me to swallow. Joe was the best pure dog man I personally have ever been around. He had a great influence on me and my family. Joe House has been a true friend for 30 years and I thank him for that. He will be missed. Tom Bates

but his line of dogs have spoiled me for 40 yrs.
and i still have them linebred house blood as tight as i can get them,,
when the light switch comes on in a true housebred dog,
it dont go off and on like some other bloodlines do..

The passing of joe house

it is with sadness and sock to hear of our loss. I came to know Joe House when he had old Clint. Had three from ole Clint they all died here at my house after many pleasurable nights. I believe Joe House was the most influential dog breeder that the Walker breed has ever had. Although I had not talked to Joe in a long time I still knew he was there and now he is not, it will not be the same with out Joe House. I can still see ole Clint down on his belly crawling all the way across Joe's back yard because Joe told Clint to come to him on his belly.Talk about a man that could get in a dogs mind.

RIP Joe

We used to talk to Joe on many Sun. mornings. Dogs, fishing, hunting, just about everything. If we ever had any type of question concerning dogs, Joe was the go to man. The best, pure, dog man I have ever had the pleaure to talk to. RIP, Joe.
