Update on Kevin Phillips family

Just got off the phone with Kevin, Grandbabby will go home today. Wife is still in critical condation (holding her own now ) the next 14 days are the most important.
Kevin wants to say thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

I spoke with Kevin earlier today and Tina was awake. She has shown some progress, but is by no means out of the woods yet. Kevin said to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and to keep them coming. The family is very appreciative of all the kind words.

Just got off the phone with Kevin. He was in good spirits and had a VERY positive outlook on the whole situation. Tina always teased me about not learning sign language (very good). He told her that I tried to call earlier today and she told him to tell me to "learn sign language". Kevin said it was great to have her joke around a bit. HAS TO BE A GOOD SIGN!!!

Kevin just called with an update .... the doctor's are saying that she is one of the toughest ladies he's come across and that its a miracle how well she's doing. They have removed all her tubes, including the drain tube in her leg and are allowing her to eat solid foods. The doctors had her out of bed walking with a walker; however when laying down it has to be elevated due to the threat of blood clots.

She will be moving out of the ICU as soon as a bed becomes available. The doctors are extremely pleased that she has bounced back so well, but are still being very cautious with her.

Kevin said to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers and to keep them coming. The miracle everyone has asked for is coming to fruition.
