Albino Coon Mount?

I know this is a long shot, but does anybody have an Albino mount they'd like to sell? We treed 1 back in '03 and I had him in the freezer when Hurricane Ivan came through and knocked our power out for 10 days. He spoiled and I'd love to have a mount....

They are on there from time to time. You usually can pick one up on there for about $350-400 for a cinnamon coon. A solid white one like is on there right now will be high!

He had pink eyes.....

He was soaking wet and dirty in that picture, but it was definetly Albino.

Some states (Illinois included) it is illegal to kill or mount a pure white animal. We killed a cinnamon coon a few years ago and my buddy had it mounted. Those are legal due to the real light mask and rings. Real neat looking.

Also an animal isn't necessarily an albino because it has red eyes. The cinnamon coon we treed had red eyes. I have raised tons of California Rabbits. They are white with black ears, nose, feet, and tails. They also have bright red eyes.

Here is what a true albino looks like. All white, not even a hint of rings on her tail.My dog treed her in 2003.I have another 1 and it is also mounted.I have treed 2 cinamon coon in my day, didn`t mount either of them.....

I feel very fortunate to have 2 true albinos hanging on the wall in my family room.

Albino coon

Wow! That's incredible! I have coonhunted for almost 30 yrs. and have never seen an albino or a cinnamon coon in a tree. I've seen almost every other color, from almost black to yellow swamp coons. I'd love to tree a white one...

From the swamps of Francis Marion National Forest

We got this one the year of Hurricane Hugo. I told everyone this is what Hugo did to the game. Years later, we got a blond out of the same swamp.

Think you could get it a ride? How much would you want for it?

What would be the reasoning behind it being illegal to mount a pure white animal ?

It is illegal to kill pure white deer here in TN. I don't know Y.

Hunting, trapping, or possession of albino deer is prohibited as set forth in TCA Chapter 70-4-130. An albino deer is a deer with a lack, or significant deficiency, of pigment in the skin and hair, and has pink eyes.

Here is one that I have killed in 1997.

I'm still looking for a taxidermist that knows what a coon looks like. Van Deusen's mount comes as close as I've ever seen...

I have a cinnamon, and have treed albino, but didn't kill it because I didn't know a taxidermist that could do it "justice"....

I have a malanistic coon (all black) in my freezer that I really want to have mounted, but don't want to pay someone $300.00 to have it come back looking like a cross between a house cat and a spider monkey!

I was hoping someone could tell us Tyler. It really doesn't make much sense unless it's the Bambi syndrome,, lol.
