The pic above is Mac on the tree...

This is Jet on the tree...
My ad in the Redbone issue of the bloodlines shows Jet on the tree instead of Mac...I sent the wrong picture file in with 10 other picture files so I wanted everyone to know what Mac really looks like on the tree. It was an honest mistake from working with tiny thumbnail pics on my cell phone to prepare materials for my ad before I sent it....just wanted everyone to know the whole story...shane

They look like cookie cutters to me. What does it matter, they are both Red. I use the same picture for all of my dogs. Now that I can do videos and have one good one, they are all going to sound like the same dog.

Apparently I have a malicious stalker who cares because now he just told someone that the top pic is still not mac and is in fact Jet on a different tree.
This is so ridiculous and needs to stop so I am posting this video...of Mac on the same tree in the top picture to prove that the top picture is 100% Grand Nite Champion Moonlight Outlaw Mac and not Jet.
I hope people understand what really motivates this guy and the crazy things he tries to perpetuate in this breed....because it isn't what most people are led to believe by him...

Reminds me of a valuable lesson I learned about posting wrong photos, after working my first American Redbone Days as a UKC employee. There was a local guy who placed in the event who did not bring his dog back on Saturday when photos were being taken. So I suggested he grab a buddies dog for the photo. Who would notice that it was not the right dog, right? So, that's what he did.

When the results came out in the magazine two months later the phone calls started pouring in! HE HUNTED THE WRONG DOG! HE'S A CROOK! IF UKC DOESN"T BAR HIM, WE'RE DONE! Needless to say, I spent a lot of time dealing with phone calls about it. I'll never suggest that idea again. I don't care if it's the same solid color or not.

Well it sure is old Mac. He isn't quite as hard a tree dog as Jet.
That pic and video of Mac is from March of this year and that pic of Jet is from 2012. I also have some video of Jet treeing back then as well.
I try to be accurate with my pics and videos...but I am just a man...and men make mistakes sometimes. I have hundreds of videos and pictures in my archive and try to write a description for each but sometimes late at night when I get home from hunting and upload my pics to photobucket I forget to label them and this time it caused me to make a mistake. Shouldn't be a big deal...but some try to make a mountain out of a mole hill. I just wanted people to know the truth and circumstances that led to this mistake so they didn't believe some of the wild rumors circulating on Facebook.
I have and will show Mac to anyone who is serious about seeing him. It will be after midnight as I work 2nd shift...and it will be in whatever way I am hunting him at the time depending on if I am getting him tuned for a big hunt or using him to start or check a young dog. I don't have a lot of free time to entertain or accomadate everyone the way some might like and if you just want to bring a dog to try to beat Mac...well, show up.at a competition hunt and pay your entry fee like I do...and take your best shot.
I have nothing to hide with my dogs...and what I have to prove, I try to prove in competition hunts where there are rules and consequences for breaking those rules. Sometimes I wish the Internet had rules...but it doesn't so people say what they want...and never seem to run out of others who will believe them...no matter how far fetched their conspiracy theories are.
Good luck redbone people...this is shaping up to be a good year for the breed...let's get beyond this crazy talk and get a bunch of redbones in the finals of the big hunts the rest of the year and finish strong!

A close friend of mine has hunted plotts for over 40 years and I don't think he's hardly ever had his picture taken with the actual dog that did the winning. His gr nt ch would be in the dog box so he'd ask some kid if he could borrow his dog for a second. Lol

I know that...but there is another who likes to cast doubt on everything I do with my dogs and I want everyone to know that I have nothing to hide and my motives have always been clear when it comes to the redbone breed. I sure don't need to see a pic of ole mac on tree I had the pleasure of witnessing mac tree six single raccoons in one two hr hunt. perty dang impressive to me. an the majority of them was him alone. An in some dang rough places. Hope I have a grand nite one day before he gets to old so I can draw him an see him in action again an have as good of time with shane as we had the first time

Mac is a coon treer for sure. I've hunted with him a couple of times now and I know I'll be hunting with him more real soon again. I've seen him tree coon in the big hills of Wisconsin, and I've seen him tree coon in the flatlands of Illinois. The way I measure a coondog first is how they hunt by themselves when coon aren't moving well. He reminds me of the old dogs from the 90s cause he's gonna get treed somewhere and there is a really good chance you will have 2 eyes looking down when you get there.

He is a Timber Chopper dog through and through. I remember pulling up to US Redbone Days in the 80s and you could go down the barns and pick out the dogs that were out of Famous Amos. Well Mac would fit that mold very well. He's one of the most pure bred Timber Chopper bred dogs alive today with concentrated TC on both sides of his pedigree. It's what put the Redbones back on the map in the 80s and 90s and it is what will put us back on the map again.
