what dog food do you feed and why what makes it what you want to feed your dog

Might sound strange to some but currently I am feeding 4 different feeds.

Molly is eating Purina Pro Plan Performance. Tried her on several feeds over the last year and this has done her better than anything. Holds up well on it and has a little more bounce to her step.

Bo is eating Purina Pro Plan Shredded Blend. Had him on the performance blend for a while but I don't hunt him as much and he was really putting the weight on with the performance so I put him on the Shredded Blend which is only 26/16.

Rowdy is eating Purina Puppy Chow because I have raised several pups on it and had good results.

The rest of my potlickers had been eating Sportmix 26/18 and doing well on it but with the bad weather I haven't been down to get any and have bought them a couple bags of Joy Professional 24/20. Seems to be alright but will be going back to Sportmix when this bag is out.

I feed PRIDE in the orange bag. I hunt my dog hard and this feed seems to be the best I've had that will keep his weight right where I want it and he is in great shape. He has tons of energy. It also seems to make his coat very healthy/shiny.

i've be feeding exceed from sams club i tried all the black gold and diamond sportdog and this keeps my dogs looking the best and also the stool is solid and less of it.

Purina Puppy Chow

I feed this because it supports his development and it makes him recover pretty quick,recovery time is something you gotta look at in hounds.Can you hunt hard for at least 3 nights straight?I know there's more then one good food out there on the market but for me its Puppy Chow and it doesn't hurt that i pay $10 bucks for a 44lb bag(wink wink)

I feed Ultra Advantage 24/20 meat based feed. My dogs look good and act good on it, not much cleanup. It is -4 this mourning and my dogs are fine. I'm sure Purina ONE and Black Gold are just as good if not better but costs are a consideration here and at $19.00 per 50#, Ultra is my choice.

sexton brothers 24/18 i get it for $20 a bag. dogs love it and stay in great shape.

I feed Ol Roy Maximum in the winter & Purina Beneful: Healthy Radiance the rest of the year to my adult dogs.
Normally feed Purina Puppy Chow to my pups but any of the Purina foods seem harder to find around here so I've been feeding whatever Purina puppy food I could find lately, which has been the Beneful puppy food.

I feed Hi-Standard great dog food, great price with less clean up and dogs look awesome. You won't have to leave a dog home after week of hunting!

Ultra Advantage 24/20 meat based here too. Even my pickiest eaters like it

Black Gold Ultimate Adult, Ultimate Puppy and Black Bag

Never had any problems with this feed... All of my dogs so far respond fantastic to it and have great coats (Get alot of compliments on their coats) muscle tone is awesome with little effort and very easy clean up.

I feed the Ultimate Adult to my female show hound... Higher Protein less fat as she is not hunted... Ultimate Puppy for the babies after they get about 3 months old and Black Bag for my Hunting/Show Male.
