The guy that cought #713 was a real Barry Bonds fan. Bonds refused to sign the ball.
What a loser...

i thik they should take all the ones before say 1995 away cause he wasnt on "things" then, go look at pics of him then and now. Those say it all. I actually used to like him.

Did Babe Ruth face the pitching that Hank Aaron did? Was the strike zone the same size for all 3? Etc., etc.

Its only baseball, anyway...

Just remember that Barry Bonds had never refused taking a drug test and has never failed one. I doubt hes used anything illegal and if he did it was unknowingly and for a short period of time. ( Also taking stuff before 1995 is wrong becuase there was no policy on steroids till a few years ago.

I for one don't really care what he or any of the others are or are not on. It's a personal choice that he will deal with in time. He is a grown man and knows what harm the drugs can do. So if he puts them in him so be it. I think the numbers would surprise you on how many of the others are on something too.

i wish everyone would leave it alone, if they're going to kick him out, then do it but if not then leave it be. it is possible to buff up like that with out illegal steriods and hes passed every drug test.

Looks to me like he still has the same swing!!!!! The only difference I could see is now he wears protective gear on his right elbow. LMAO.....

i don see much a difference other than hes older and bigger

if you put a picture of me when i was 18 and a picture of me now there is a 50 pound difference a lot bigger difference than the 2 pictures just posted.and no its not fat its from workin hard and eatin right. i was a bean pole then, now im a 50 pound heavier one. If someone wants to take stuff rather than do it the old fashion way than let em do it but since its not supposed to be done in MLB then he shouldnt be doin it if he is even doin anything wrong at all.

In the end, it does not matter if he gets the record, the hall and everything else. I believe he used them, and nobody can change my mind, so whether he gets in or not is of no consequence to me. He'll never make my Hall of Fame.

Barry never had to refuse taking a drug test, several of the drugs he was on, and he admittedly says so...were designed to be undetectable.
The question never has been if Barry Bonds took steriods...he has and admitted to it under oath. It is a question of did he knowingly do so...and facts are pointing to he knew what he was taking and helped others get the same undetectable steriods too.

I have no respect for anyone taking them to get a performance edge. Its went into college sports and is now huge throughout high school sports where there is little or no detection. So much for roll models.

Here is what I never understood. I say who cares if he takes steroids? Its a sport and more than that its entertainment. He is paid to perform and to entertain just like everyone else in the league. The better they entertain the better they get paid. The better they perform the more people come to watch. I say if these pro athletes want to take steroids to put on a better "show" let them do it. People watch the steroid heads on big time wrestling all the time. how many people would tune into that to watch two 175 pound guys throw each other around the ring? probably none.

If you think about it in the whole scope of the world today, it really doesn't mean anything to me if Barry Bonds hits 900 homers on steroids or someone hits 400 without. It doesn't effect me, my family or my community nor does it yours, one bit and when I do decide to tuen into a game, its more fun to see the long ball than a trickler into right. People pay to see the longball.

I know I will get hammered with people saying "what does this portray to our youth". Well I say those things are learned at home. My kids don't jump off a cliff because a cartoon charector does and they don't kill because governor Arnold does on his shows. Likewise, they don't do steroids because that guy Barry Bonds on TV does.

I just hate seeing the legends who played this game clean and when it was about the game instead of money have their stats and records fall to guys who had to juice up to reach what the old guys did clean and for the love of the game.

Skinning ole Maris hits 61 HR's and held that record for many many years. Broken one year from a guy to to takes the fitfth when asked about steroids and from one who has been caught cheating used corked bats.

Then the HR record is re-broken from one involved in steroid controversy . Sure records are made to be broke. Hate to see the old timers records broke this way.

NAILOR sure there are plenty more importart things happening in the world today that needs looked at it.

That doesn't mean that other stuff can't be brought up as well and discussed.

HE MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT HAVE USED STEROIDS BUT HE STILL HAS TO HAVE A TRMENDOUS AMOUNT OF ABILITY AND SKILL TO BE ABLE TO HIT THE PITCHES HE HITS. THERE IS NOT A PITCHER IN BASEBALL THAT HE DOES NOT INTIMIDATE. IF THEY MAKE A MISTAKE HE'S TOUCHING THEM ALL. THE AVERAGE PERSON COULD PUMP ROIDS TIL THEIR HEAD EXPLODED AND COULD NOT HIT LIKE BONDS. LIKE IT OR NOT HE IS THE MOST FEARED HITTER SINCE BABE RUTH.

First off, I have never liked Barry Bonds. Period. I never liked his attitude or anything about the man. he is a jerk!

Hank Aarron was not on the juice when he broke the record. But neither were any of the pitchers. Without defending Bonds, it is a fact there are more pictures juiced up than any other position in MLB.

What does this mean? Bonds is still a jerk but maybe he was keeping up with his level of competition. Rather than worry about if he should be booted or have an asterick by his name is senseless.

People should be more concerned over how Johnny's dad acted last night at Little League when he cursed the ump. And how about Billy's dad that has not paid child support in 2 years. Oh yeah and don't forget about Jamal, his dad has never even came to a game to watch him play. I have to agree with Morgan on this one. Who really cares if Barry dies from liver disease in a couple of years? That will send a stronger signal to kids.

Maybe Earnhardt should have an asterick beside his name because Petty drove a Mopar.
