you wouldn't get close enough with a bow you better try a high powered rifle.

Just give me the word and I'll be on my way!!!!!!!!! I'll buy you a steak dinner.I'll go get your dogs off the tree every night I'm there..I wanna kill it!

Dang it elvis, you ruined my surprise.

I was surfing through some old posts today, and stumbled upon some posts that were made about "canned hunting".

There was a reference to how much Russ was charging to harvest a deer of that caliber. I was trying to bait some of these guys into committing to mortgaging their house to kill one like that.....

The deer is one of Bellars.....he was not in my pasture.....

didnt wanna ruin anything joe, i just figured if these guys believed you had deer this caliber in your pasture, they mite believe i have passed him up several times.lol

Dreamcatcher is a dandy. He will score in the 350 range.
They were thinking about changing his name to Holyshttt!! cause thats what everyone says when they first see him.

Didn't read above post, must be doped up if he's at big Russ"s place. Easier to kill that way.

Posted by Oak Ridge on 10-03-2008 01:39 AM:

I promise he's worth a whole lot more alive than he is dead.....

Let me tell you, if I was the one to have to go in the pen with him, and shove an electrostimulator up his arse to collect semen from him...you better believe I'd want him doped up.....

The hope of killing the almighty trophy buck has destroyed all types of hunting in central Kansas. Just a few years back I had thousands of acres to hunt. Now, u are constantly sneaking because of the land all being leased by out of state big money men. Not going to pay someone to hunt. If it has a flag tail, lead is in the air. Not trying to stir yur pot , but it's coming your way...Do not advertise big bucks because there are alot more money men that deer hunt, than coon huntl. They WILL come and buy that land u like to hunt. Later, T

Travis,

You may not have read the entire post.....

The deer in the picture is a breeder, used in a captive breeding program. He's safe, sound, and happy...not in any danger.

And besides, the deer hunters in Indiana can't pass up a two year old six pointer...we don't have to worry about these genetic freaks growing old enough to be a temptation to anyone.

Shoot, they lease land around here to shoot basket racked six point bucks anyway....
