What’s your best hunting streak without a break?

i was talking to a guy last night and he was telling me one of those "back in the day" speech's where he hunted non stop for 5 months without taking a day off. i thought that was pretty long, then i rembered a old hunting partner tell me he hunted all but 12 days in a year. both are amazing to feats if they are truthfull.

i would like to know "TRUTHFULLY" whats your longest you went hunting with out taking a night off? i get the ball rolling. compared to these guys im a weakling..lol my longest is 27 days straight. then i had to take a night off.

first three weeks of season this year. I think maybe we had 1 day off. Partner was on vacation. We had maybe 35-40 coon.
After that it was ice, then snow, then flooding, more Ice, more snow, now it is wind, snow, cold, snow, and wind.

As for records we seem to be setting a record for the number of consecutive den trees in a night.

Like Bill said since we are not aloud to hunt on Sunday, I hunted every night satrting in Sept. 1st till Jan 1st. Hopefully one my dogs will get me fired to hunt like that again.

i was hunting 6 or 7 days a week when weather permitted for the last 2 years. needless to say it almost caused a divorce for me and the wife. now i hunt about 3 days a week.

burdette do like i do. bring her with. mine goes with almost every night. i did it first just to get her to shut up about being away from me so long. never thought it would last. amazingly though its worked out pretty good and she never, back stabs, holds out, or no shows like some other hunting partners ive had in the past. cant beat it..lol

Don't remember............

how long the longest streak was....... I was going to say seven, but I think it was more than that........

used to hunt 5 and 6 nights a week from around the 1st September to around the 1st of January (when it started really getting cold)... I never have hunted much during summer heat, once or twice a week was about it (if that often)....

I'm gonna be honest here. My record that I can recall is 38 nights. I was working with a young Black and Tan male. Mostly hit and miss.

That being said, I blame this web site for my not challenging that record. It is much easier on nights when it is very windy, icy, heavy snow, etc, to sit here and participate in the nonsensical crap that get spewed here.

60 days straight, during kill season. Could be a day or so off, but it was when top hides brought 45-50. Hard not to hunt then.

About 9 years ago I hunted the same young dog 40 out of 50 nights, he became UKC Gr.Nt.Ch. Oakwood's Blue Bomber.

About 3-4 years ago I hunt my dogs and a dog for Larry Proulx (Duke), I started opening night of our kill seaon here in IN Nov. 8th and only missed 2 nights by mid Jan. Don't know how long my streak was exactly but I know I didn't miss til Christmas.
