Jim,

She's a beautiful Walker hound.Ought to be some great-lookin' pups.Hope they all turn out well.One question---is that like a knot on her front left leg?If so,do you know what it is?I got a Swamp Cat female with somethin' real similar in the very same place on her front right.Was just wonderin'.Doesn't seem to bother her.Thanks.

Rob, it's a hotspot type of sore. I think she might gotten it from laying down so much more since she is pregnant or maybe from being on the Lectro heating pad.

From the looks of the pic I'd say that is a lick granuloma. Basically they start licking a spot out of boredom and it scars over and they keep licking it. Kind of like a person that chews their fingernails too much.
