Time For A New Light / Would Like Your Opinion
It's time to purchase a new light. I have a standard 21 volt light now. Are the new belt packs any better? Do they hold up? Is one brand any better than another? 21 volt or 28 volt?
Thanks
Jim
i bought a ProLite pro-26 belt light a few months ago and really like it.

I'd say the belt lights are worth the money due to the lightweight, easy to carry aspect.
I looked at lights alot before I bought mine, I found that they are all almost exactly the same...it looks like they all buy parts from the same companies? Based on that I decided to look for the best warranty and one with a dealer near me for quick turnaround in case something did happen...
I have had my Purvis Light, 21v Belt, for 2 years now and it has performed very nicely. My hunting buddy has a Prolite and has had a very good experience as well. These lights have 5 year (2+3) warranties.

Get one with the LED Pro Head. They are high but are worth it if you can afford it.

I`m going to throw another vote behind Prolite, I got the 26 volt Platinum and I love it. Never blown a bulb, still got the original bulb in it after a year and a bit.

I've got a 21 volt Blazer box light. had it 3 years now with no problems. blew one bulb and it was my fault. I'd buy another one. JMO
Belt Light/New head
I bought a Blazer 21 with the new head on Oct. 20 and wouldn't switch back to a regular head for anything. It's also a lot lighter. The "white" light it gives off is great for finding coon and getting them to look. I've only charged it twice since then and have hunted at least 5 nights a week during that period. Also, when you get back in the truck, it makes you wonder if your headlights are working right or battery is weak because the lights look dim. Take care, Ron.
blazer all the way for me.Travis

I have a valley creek 20 volt and it works great. Its just as bright as my brother in laws 26 volt or brighter. They are good about taking care of you if you have a problem with it. I paid 265 for mine and had no problems. Use it three to four nights a week and have not blown a bulb yet.
Light Connection 28 volt belt light.
Very good warranty, very light weight, and trouble free.
Holds up good, bulbs last, holds a charge for a very long time, top notch components with a rheostat switch so you can turn it way down to make a shy ricky look.
Can't beat em.

i have a nite lite 28 volt excellent light i love it i will NEVER buy another thing from their company again PISS POOR customer service (this is not just a one time thing) my wife uses a competition light i love the light and the excellent customer service ive learned there is a lot more than just making a good light if you dont have the people standing behind the product then its worthless
light
try a Competition, I have one 4 yrs old and going strong.
