Topper

Chuck, Topper was out of Bowser. I bought Topper from Cliff Harris Nov. 7th 1961. He was 4 months old. Ran and treed first time in the woods. As a 2 year old I sold him back to George Hanson, who owned Bowser. Cliff got him back. He, Clare Chenwoeth, and Russ Miller passed him around for 3 or 4 years. He was killed on the road in 1967. He was a gr nite ch. He was a good one. Bowser was one of the best dogs that I ever hunted with. Gone but not forgotten. Herb

That would be good. I also remember dad having several good females including barb, tammy, daisy, millie, betty, and a couple good plotts named jane and lil

The Buck dog dad had was colored like an english dog red blue and tan ticks all over with a big tan head. Dad said he ran a coon like most dogs ran a deer, as with most of dads great dogs he had to sell them to feed his family during hard times.

Mark ,If the Lil female is the same female that Charlie Workman owned at one time ,,I put a third place win on her and maybe one more like a 7th or so . Wasn't to doggone shabby back in the day when you would over 200 dogs at the hunts .
