i think the ole dukester may have strectched the truth a bit,,if it was 65 coons i could of beleaved him,,,,,steve
It is possible here in the pecan groves along the missouri river when the dogs are turned loose all the coon will run to the last tree in the grove. It is normal to find 20-30 in one tree early in the season.
WOW!!!!!!! i dont think we have 30 in the county,,,,steve
must have one heck of a light and a big river to float a canoe down LOL.
seen 35 around one lot before
but didnt tree them all.Fancy has treed 15 before on a comp 2 hour hunt some doubles and a triple. If your dog is at walker days it could be possible.

I think it is true, In some areas in the country they are over ran by coon. But were I live with even a real coon hound in one night you might get a few

We dumped in a little corn patch probably 10 acres once. There were 36 coon in the trees when the dogs finally treed. Looked like xmas lights, all the eyes shining. The dogs did not look good flying around that corn patch. Coon running this way and that- seven of them ran by us on thier way to trees.

Come on guys havent you ever ran your hounds through a hog lot with self feeders. He hunted over good food sources and counted all the coons in the tree and the next tree or maybe he is lying
Duke Bred dogs are the best
O god yes, the nite he caught 65 he only beat me by one, I caught 64 the very next nite. I have a litter mate to the dog he owns, you guys better get on the band wagon, get a Duke bred dog.

I wish we had that many on our whole acreage much less be able to tree any!!....we always have to load up the dogs and go someplace else cause our coons got struck w/ a sickness a couple years ago and they havent grown back yet.....but i think it could probably be done...?....dont really know what to believe....
LMAO= laughing my asssssssss off
70 coon hmmmmmm, i live right in the heart of some of the best cooning in the nation most i have ever seen taken in 1 night was a bit over 30 and some of those were shined and mulitples out of 1 tree.
The most singles ive treed in a night of hunting was 16 in early fall and hunting most of the night, not that more couldnt be treed but coon have to move all night and you have to have red hot tracks all night..
once again just my humble opinion
later warn

Well I dont believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!

i sure hope i never have to judge ol duke and his dog in a hunt.
can you imagine the scorecards a guy would have to carry to pencil in that many coon?
the calculator would blow a fuse trying to tally up such a score.
