Tailgate Adventures...
Has anyobdy seen this show, is it a scam, what's the deal? I was told it was suppose to air on Tuesday's and Saturday's but it's not on the guide for tomorrow...
I dont know when it will air but I have watched the website episodes and they are nice. I will tell you this I know David and anything he has to do with anything is not a scam. He has a well known hunting supply business known as F&T Fur Harvesters Trading Post. I do know this is not going to be a over night process and with the money they are spending It is just one of those things that comes along slowly but when it gets it foot of the ground it takes off JMO
GOOD LUCK DAVE AND CREW!!!!

Maybe I have this wrong, but isn't F&T Fur Harvesters Trading Post a major sponsor, not the actual person who is putting this on?

For those that haven't heard there will be a brand new national television show out this Fall that will be all about Hounds and Tree Dogs. Here's an update on what we've achieved so far this year:
- The show is now called F&T's Tailgate Adventures as our friends at F&T's Fur Harvesters Trading Post have joined us as our title sponsor.
- Other major commercial sponsors include: Blazer Lights, Canine Classic Dog Boxes, Dan's Hunting Gear, and Ultra Advantage Dog Food.
- We also have the pleasure of being sponsored by several great kennels that have hooked up with us to film some hunts. Those include Stirek's Strawberry Mountain Kennels, Chirico's Chestnut Ridge Kennel, and Newlin's Oak Ridge Kennels.
- We've secured our air time slots for our launch on DishNetwork channel 230, starting fourth quarter. Those slots include two prime time airings, one Friday evenings and one Saturday afternoons.
- So far this year we have half our episodes filmed and on track to knock most all of them out by mid-Summer.
- And last but not least, we continue to get a lot of great feedback and support from all you hunters across the country!
We still have several sponsorship/advertising spots available for anyone interested. If you get a chance check us out at http://www.tailgateadventures.com

The reason I hunt this bloodlines is a quote an old friend gave me,"Your either making dust or your eating it."
Let me assure you as I set here editing hours and hours and hours of video tape....it's not a scam, it's real!
The show does not "premier" until October 2, 2009. It will be on Channel 230 on Dish Network, In Country Television on Fridays at 7:00 PM and again on Saturday at 4:30 PM.
We have not yet purchased the third time slot...an "overnight". We are intentionally holding off on that slot to see what is "available.
Please look at http://www.ictvnow.com/show.asp?s=i...ontent_id=14601

Would these be available on DVD at some point? You could sell them to us that don't have dish tv or cable. There's one or two of us holdouts.
Base plan right now is to offer the episodes as a "box set".
Right now, we are focused on getting the show produced, edited, and off to the network...Soon after that, we will begin filming season 2.....
At some point, we will create the box set and offer them for sale!

I have dish network but I don't have a channel 230. Where does everyone watching this live because I can't get it. It must be a regional channel

Right now we are contractd with ICTV on DISD network. I PROMISE that if you have DISH that you have ch 230. Chances are you have saved a channel list. If you are not seeing 230 then call DISH and let them know.
As for plans... We have been accepted by not fewer than three different networks and are starting to get inquiries from some local TV and a couple other cable/satellite networks.
The future of TGA is wide open. It will depend upon sponsorship. Differevt networks charge different rates. It is not our preferences that drive where the show is aired but instead it is a matter of how much our sponsors are willing to devote to the show.

Great Job fielding the questions Joe... there's a lot of them, due to a lot of great interest. Here's some clarifications:
- I'm the executive producer and no, I would not be involved in anything that wasn't completely on the up and up.
- Joe and Brian are my partners as well as the cameramen/directors/video editors... we all wear multiple hats.
- No I do not own F&T's. They are our title sponsor and great proponents of anything that promotes the hound and tree dog sports. We're proud to be associated with the guys from Alpena.
- We have also been approved for airing on The Sportsman and Pursuit Channels, both of which air on DirecTV as well as some cable networks. Right now we are targeting The Sportsman Channel for a 1st Quarter 2010 airing, if the support is there.
- As Joe, mentioned we are also being approached by several regional cable networks, as the word spreads.
- Also as Joe mentioned, ICTV is on the basic subscription of DishNetwork, so if you have Dishnetwork, you should be able to watch us.
- For those without Dish, ICTV will be starting a webcast on their website, where we can also be viewed.
- And yes our plan is to create a "Season 1 on DVD".
Happy Hunting!
