Garmin Long Range Antenna
I use a Dogtra Pathfinder Tracking System. The average range for a good signal in my area in heavy timber is about 1 mile give or take some. I have been told that the Garmin Long Range Extending antenna will fit the Dogtra receiver and will add some more range to my system. Just wondering what information you Coon hunters might be able to share on this matter. Also when looking at the extendable antenna on line I noticed there was a more expensive antenna that is referred to as a portable antenna that cost around $65. Have any of you hunters tried the portable antenna and
if so would you share your thoughts/opinions on that antenna.
Thanks and the best of hunting to you all.

Bought an extendable flex antenna for Conkey's. With it range for GPS and commuincation is good. Can't say just how far but it was a pretty good improvement.

Thanks Tom. I sure hate loosing my signal when they get in there deep.
