Victor vs. Valu-Pak
What’s everybody feeding? Pros and Cons, particularly down south. I used to feed Victor 30/20 teal bag then switched to the 24/20 red bag. Years later Valu-pak popped up and I’ve just stuck with it since then, my go to being the 30/20 purple. Just trying to get some input and feed back.
I feed Valu-Pak
I was feeding Purina ProPlan when I won a bag of the Valu-Pak 28/20 (black bag) at a hunt one night. I decided to try it out on one of my hounds to see how he liked it. I began by mixing the Valu-Pak in with the ProPlan. He would pick around the ProPlan and eat the Valu-Pak first then eat the ProPlan when it was all that was left. I continued switching this hound over to straight Valu-Pak over the next month and eventually switched all my hounds over. They have all been on Valu-Pak for a year now and have had really good results. I prefer the 28/20 (black bag) because is does not have any corn in it which seems to help the dogs run cooler and not heat up like when on corn based products. I do mix some 30/20 (purple bag) in on a couple hounds during the winter.
Value pack
Fed it for years it’s the only way to go all my dogs love it look great on it and that’s different breeds even to the tiny house dog they love it
