Alpha 100 help

I just got this Alpha 100 and know very little about how to use it. I'm coming from a astro 220, I know change is hard for me. 2 question at this time, first is there any way to make the yardage bigger on map at dog collar, second this unit shows all the roads where I live as numbered roads, and we don't have numbered roads, all of our roads are named roads. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you put the map card you are using from the 220 into the ALPHA you should see that map info on the ALPHA.

As far as the size of the yardage on the map. If I am understanding this correctly that only has one size font. Zooming in is the only way that could help.

Now on the compass page you can change that from small to large numbers by going to the menu page and selecting Larger or small numbers.
