is feeding a high protein 32-25 dog food safe for there kidneys thanks for any input

I would ask your vets opinion. My told me it won't cause a problem,. But not to feed high protein to a dog that has a existing problem with kidneys. Also protein source needs to be of good quality, meat based.

Years ago I had a good friend that was a vet and fox hunter. He said not to feed anything over 26% protein. He said if you hunt hard feed a high fat feed, if you don't hunt hard feed something like a 20-12.
