Garmin Alpha
I need to turn in my Garmin Alpha for a (refurbished) one. Where you plug in the Charger got messed up. I had a little Granddaughter who thought she was helping me by putting it on the charger. My fault for leaving it out. Just wondering if anyone has traded there in, and if it's as good as a new one? Appreciate any input. Thanks
.
Pat there is one possible option for your ALPHA. The port that is messed up is usually used for about 4 things. Charging the battery, operation in a vehicle without draining the battery, interface with basecamp and updating. Many people only use that port for charging. If that is your case you could always purchase a desk top charger and keep your battery charged that way.
One question? How old is is your ALPHA?
We do have the red reflective 1 1/2 wide that is 24" from center of collar buckle to end of strap. That will fit a dog with up to 22" neck.

Regarding my Alpha, I just got a sweet deal from Garmin and I'm gonna go with that. That tip is GREAT to know that's a possibility in case I ever need to go that route. Thanks
Regarding the collar I'm gonna call back on that. If it'll fit a 22 inch neck I'll have to take it for now. I'm waiting on my New telehealth doctor appointment and I'll call the store as soon as possible. Your service to the public is always commendable! Thanks
