#1 Registry

Just why is UKC the #1 Registry? What makes them the #1 Registry? I see all of these people wanting to change this or change that but what is it that makes UKC the #1 Registry?

I think UKC is #1 in a lot of breeds (not just coonhounds) for one main reason: the quality of their record-keeping. This is especially true in coonhounds where they have records going back to the early 1900s. It is pretty amazing to me to think that I could trace an American Black & Tan Coonhound's lineage back to 1902 just using UKC's records.

Everything else they offer is just icing on the cake.

Just my opinion.
