Another Garmin Alpha Question

My friend and I have the same Garmin Alpha and on mine the tone and shock levels go up too 18(not that i need it that high but just noticed it). His only goes up to 6 for the same dogs. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time for any replies.

If you look at his it should have a low, medium and high with 6 levels on each.

Yes. It has two modes which are selected under Training then Stimulation. There is traditional which is 1-6 and Linear which is 1-18. 6 on traditional is 18 on linear.
