Sire vs dam
Has anyone else noticed that the male pups take after the dam more than the sire? And the female pups after the sire? A few buddies and I were talking about certain traits and where the dog got it from, sire or dam. And how in a litter of pups the males were heartless, couldn't take a correction but the females were the opposite. And that led to talk about other litters. And what we've seen.
I guess that makes saying " that boy was picked out off his daddy's butt" false
I think its more on certain crosses....got two yearling pups now male looks and acts a lot like his daddy has his mothers screaming mouth. Female looks like her momma but acts like her grandma on dads side...
