Breeding small females

Anyone ever had much trouble with small females having pups when bred to a big male? I know a Squirrel Hunter that bred a feist female to a walker hound and she Had pups fine. I'd just be worried that the pups would be to big and could get hung up? Thoughts?

Nature generally takes care of that.

I just had a litter the same scenario . Not a problem . The pups come out small n grow to whatever size . There 3 1/2 mo old now and close to the dams size tho lol . 30 # fiest × 50# walker.so if they can hook up they'll probably be ok . Also her first litter i might add.
