Doe in estrous for breaking dogs off deer

My 10 month redbone is a good dog will hunt in all but loves to run deer I used the shock collar but it don't seem to work so I was wondering if I douse him in doe piss if it will break him from running deer

Before shocking collars, I bought our redbone a goat. Just let it run loose by her pen.

When I use the shock collar I make a statement to my dog...the way I start my pups is to let them bay what game I want and put them in the chase of the game I want...do this 3 times or so...once the pups know the woods is a fun place and running and catching the game I want is fun...

Then the next step is deer scent in the kennel on the old deer shoulder mount with a rolled up paper towel tacked on...when that deer touches that dog it hurts...do this twice a week for a total of 3 times and the pups will dodge a deer in the woods...I always start with the alpha pup and I also make sure the pups are down wind so there is no doubt in their mind what a deer smells like...a repeat several months later might be needed bust seldom the case...
