TT 15 question

I just purchased a TT-15 for my Alpha and I just keep loosing signal. It picks up, drops, picks up, drops over and over. A couple of minutes is about as long as I have had reception without loosing it.I purchased the collar new, is there some kind of update I need to do with it or my Alpha? I have the Alpha that came with TT-10. Any help would be appreciated.
