Garmin Alpha Contacts?

Can not get this Alpha to pair up to another Alpha?
My Alpha has no contact icon on home screen?
(Alpha to Alpha tracking & messaging)

This is deffinately a question for Bruce Conkey,,never heard of a alpha not having the contact page on the front menu,,might wanna try an update,,but not sure,,this is a new one to me,,good luck
