your trying to get a number from people that post on a forum ? your numbers will be way off in my opinion due to the fact that I would say very few get on here and post up regularly if at all .

UKC doesn't have "members". They have people that are registered on the Forum but you don't have to be a "member" to hunt in a night hunt. Therefore, they can't give you a number. And yes, there is a big difference between the # of people that post/play on the interweb and the # that actually compete in a nite hunt.

Just look at the # of views on a thread compared to the # of posts. A lot of people read the posts but don't ever post themselves.

Or go to a UKC hunt and count the # of pickups in the parking lot that afternoon and compare it to the # of people signed up to actually hunt.

I have seen it estimated that 10,000 "coonhunters" attend Autumn Oaks some years but only about 500 actually hunt in the nite hunt.
