Bear size

The wifes uncle killed a pretty good sized boar. This is the first time we have had a season ( bow ) in our area of Tn. and his was the first one to be checked in. The taxidermist wanted it whole, it was weighed after being frozen. 428.5 pounds I know nothing at all about bears, is this a big, average, or something else bear?

Idk bout Tennessee, but by any standards I've ever heard of that's a big bear. I guess it would really be a pretty big bear anywhere though.
