whats confusing is==rule 6= l ==on the alpha SOME ONE DELETED MY POST ON THIS MUST NOT WANT TO TALK BOUT IT

Andy, your post wasn't removed because of your question, it was removed because of the actions of another poster.

To answer your question, the Alpha must be left in the truck. It may be used during timeouts though to locate a dog, but the training features cannot be used.

I'm sure if you search Garmin Alpha on the forums you'll see where this has been discussed and it may give you more insight.
