Metal Dog Boxes - Your Opinion
How many use metal dog boxes in their kennels? I am speaking of the ones made from the two thin metal strips with insulation sandwiched in the middle. Do you think dogs chewing on these metal boxes digest the metal or does it get lodged somewhere in the intestine. Been thinking about getting some - but want opinions.
ive been using these dog houses for years, i had a pitbull that could bite holes in them but he couldn't hurt them or himself. I never had a hound even scratch one up

The reason I ask this question, a friend had a hyper activity dog that chewed one of these boses up pretty bad. The dog died a young age and this fellow said he thought the dog got some of the fine metal shavings in his intestines and that is what killed the dog. Wish he would take him to vet and known for sure,
