under cover

I hunt blk dogs but was wondering, what black and tan male dog have you hunted with that would make you think about switching or at least say wow. I'm looking for one to breed to. I want alot of go power. Thanks

Years ago

I hunted with several years ago directly out of Hicks Diamond Bill which was a littermate to Two Time Albert. The one male I hunted with was still one of the best dogs I have ever been in the woods with and flat out was on a run all the time. And had the prettiest bawl mouth I have ever heard. I had a pup out of a later cross that never turned out or I would be hunting black dogs now.

Haven't hunted with any Black and Tans in years that has impressed me.
