Heartworm Med Help

Any one with info on ValueHeart or Ivomec. Saw this valueheart at 17 dollars for 6 month supply. Ivomec liquid from tractor supply cheap too. My kennel has grown and heartgaurd is getting expensiv3 with the number of dogs. Or if anyone else has a cheaper med need some advice please. I care about my dogs so would like to use something proven but n3ed to lower cost at sam3 time but dogs health above cost.

Ivomermectin + Fenbendazole

I use the 0.27% Ivermectin and use 0.1ccs per 10 lbs of body weight. I do this 9 months year in Indiana.......March thru November.
For other worms I use the Sheep Packaged Wormer with Fenbendazole as the ONLY active ingredient and once again use 0.1 CC per 10 lbs of body weight for the same 9 months.

I do this same day of month and squirt both together after cutting with a little juice.

The Ivo will do the heart worm and the Fenben will do all other parasites.

Then for flies and fleas and ticks I squirt 2ccs of 10% permethrin solution on the back of their neck between their shoulder blades for the same 9 months.

Heart worm preventative

I buy the cattle and swine 50ml bottle that is 1% sterile solution at Rural King. I think you can get it at Tractor supply and most Ag type stores. It costs 40-50 dollars. I give 0.2cc for a 50-85lbs dog each month March-December.
This 1 bottle would be empty in 250 months if treating 1 dog (pretty cheap).
I squirt it on a 1/2 slice of bread and feed it to the dog. I keep it stored in the box down in the basement (Keep protected from light). The product usually expires in 3-5 years. (Before the bottle is empty).
This has worked for me, at least for 17 years.
